Was an Amateur Scout for the Tampa Bay Lightning (1999-00 – 2001-02) and a scout for the Ottawa Senators (1998-99). Grandfather Don played parts of two seasons (1969-70 & 1970-71) with the New York Rangers and served in various capacities with the Toronto Maple Leafs (Pro Scout, 2015-16), Philadelphia Flyers (Pro Scout, 2012-13 – 2014-15 & Director of Player Development, 2006-07 – 2011-12), and Buffalo Sabres (Pro Scout, 1984-85, Director of Scouting, 1985-86 & 1986-87, Assistant Coach, 1986-87, and Director of Player Development, 1987-88 – 2005-06).
