Wolf Pack Weekly, December 12-18

Dec 12, 2016

The Wolf Pack (7-13-3-1, 18 pts., .375) were 0-2-0-1 in three games this past week.  In an Atlantic Division tilt Wednesday at the XL Center, rookies John Gilmour and Michael Joly scored goals, Joly’s his first career AHL tally, but the Wolf Pack ended up on the short end of a 4-2 score vs. the Springfield Thunderbirds.  The Toronto Marlies came to town on Saturday night, for the third meeting in eight days between themselves and the Wolf Pack, and a four-goal second period carried Toronto to victory, 5-3.  Joly scored for a second straight game in that contest.  On Sunday in Providence, a Wolf Pack streak of ten consecutive wins in shootouts came to an end, as the Bruins came away with a 2-1 shootout triumph.  Magnus Hellberg made a team season-high 40 saves in that game.

This week:  The Wolf Pack play their last two home games before the Christmas holiday this week, hosting Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM and Syracuse Friday evening at 7:15.  The Pack then make their first visit of the season to Hershey on Saturday night for a 7:00 game.

Wednesday, December 14 vs. the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh) at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

  • This is another Wolf Pack “Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack” game.  The Family Value Pack includes two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for just $40.
