Wolf Pack to Launch "Kindness Campaign"
Nov 3, 2014Global Spectrum, operators of the XL Center and the Wolf Pack, today announced a new Wolf Pack “Kindness Campaign”.
The encouragement will focus on the importance of treating others with respect and consideration, both in person and on-line.
The Wolf Pack will launch the Kindness Campaign at the team’s “School Day” game this Wednesday, November 5 against the Albany Devils. That game faces off at a special time of 11:00 AM.
All students who attend Wednesday’s game will be urged to sign a pledge to be more kind and respectful of others. The name of every youngster who signs the pledge will appear on a Wolf Pack specialty jersey, which the team will wear for the Pack’s “Anti-bullying Night” Friday, March 27.
After Wednesday’s game, all fans, of all ages who wish to do so will have the opportunity to sign the pledge on-line, through the Wolf Pack’s official website at www.hartfordwolfpack.com. Also, fans can take the kindness pledge by tweeting the hashtag #WolfPackKindness. The twitter handle of every individual who takes the pledge that way will also appear on the specialty jersey.
The pledge period will end December 15, in order to provide enough lead time for the jerseys to be produced for the March 27 game.
Tickets for all 2014-15 Wolf Pack home games are now on sale at the XL Center ticket office, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499. Wolf Pack tickets start as low as $12 for youth 12 years old or younger.
