• The Rochester Americans swept their home-and-home set with the Binghamton Devils last weekend, including a 10-3 stomping of Binghamton at Blue Cross Arena. In traveling to Rochester, the Wolf Pack will have to find a way shut down the potent Rochester offense to end the team’s home winning streak.

• Americans rookie, C.J. Smith, is averaging exactly a point per game, with six goals and 13 assists in 19 contests. Forward Evan Rodrigues, who missed Rochester’s first 14 games due to injury, has 2-4-6 in the last three contests. It will be important for Hartford defensemen to shut down their production on Friday night.

• The Toronto Marlies currently have the best record in the league, 16-4-0-0, for a total of 32 points in the standings. The key to gaining a win over the Marlies will be high energy and winning defensive battles, as the Wolf Pack have already beaten the Marlies this season, with a 5-2 win on Oct. 13.
