Game Preview:
This is the finale of a ten-game season series between the AHL’s two Connecticut rivals. The Wolf Pack are 3-5-1-0 on the year vs. the Sound Tigers, including wins in two of the previous three meetings, and are 1-2-1-0 in home action in the head-to-head series.
Last Time Out:
The Wolf Pack are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Gabriel Fontaine, Scott Kosmachuk and Dawson Leedahl scored in regulation time, while Alexandar Georgiev was in net to make 43 saves. Georgiev is fresh off a New York Rangers stint that saw him become the first goaltender in Rangers history to make 30 or more saves in each of his first five NHL starts.
Thus far, the Pack are 31-30-6-3 on the season with a .507 win percentage, placing them sixth in the ultra-competitive Atlantic Division with 71 points from 70 games played. The Pack sit behind the fifth place Sound Tigers, who have collected 74 points from 68 games played for a 0.544 win percentage. Following the first place Lehigh Valley Phantoms, who have clinched a playoff spot, the Penguins, Providence Bruins and Charlotte Checkers hold the remaining playoff positions.

#17 Scott Kosmachuk
Scott Kosmachuk has provided the Wolf Pack 15 goals and 26 assists for 41 points in 69 games, including a goal and assist last night. Kosmachuk is second on the team in points and is tied for second in goals. The right wing is playing in his fourth season of pro hockey, as he spent his first three years with the Winnipeg Jets organization. With the Manitoba Moose, the Toronto native scored 11 goals and registered 17 assists in the 2016-17 season.
#20 Scott Eansor
Scott Eansor is a rookie center that is new to the Sound Tigers, as he spent the previous four seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Eansor currently has 16 goals and 6 assists for 22 points for the Sound Tigers. He recorded 38 points (18 goals, 20 assists) in 40 games last season and ranked second on the Thunderbirds in short-handed goals (three) and fourth in game-winning goals (four), while serving as team captain.
