Game Preview:
The Hartford Wolf Pack will be hosted by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers for the fourth time this season. This is the seventh meeting between the two teams, in which the Pack have gone 1-4-1-0. The Pack will next face the Sound Tigers for a home game on February 7.
The Sound Tigers are coming off a 6-1 loss to the Toronto Marlies on Saturday at Ricoh Coliseum, and have won two of their last five games. Bridgeport sits in fifth place in the Atlantic Division with a 16-13-4-1 record and a 0.544 win percentage.
Last Time Out:
Last Sunday, the Wolf Pack played to a 5-1 loss to the Utica Comets at the XL Center. Peter Holland scored the lone Wolf Pack goal, while Alexandar Georgiev made 24 saves in net.
Thus far, the Pack are 14-17-3-3 on the season with a .459 win percentage, which places them seventh in the ultra-competitive Atlantic Division with 34 points from 37 games played. The Providence Bruins currently lead the division, while the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Lehigh Valley Phantoms fall close behind in the tight race.
Players to Watch:
#95 Vinni Lettieri
In 31 games played, rookie forward Vinni Lettieri has scored 12 goals and notched nine assists for a total of 21 points with the Hartford Wolf Pack, tying him for first on the team in goals. The forward earned his first New York Rangers call-up on December 28, and produced a goal and an assist for two points in three games with the team. The Minnesota native came to Hartford from the University of Minnesota, where he helped Minnesota capture four-straight Big Ten regular-season championships, as well as the 2015 Big Ten Tournament title.
#11 Tanner Fritz
Tanner Fritz has 10 goals and 25 assists in 29 games, for a team-leading 35 points. The right wing made his AHL debut on Feb. 21 last year, where he notched his first AHL point on his first shift. Fritz went on to play in 63 games for the Sound Tigers last year, with 19 goals and 23 assists. Fritz made his NHL debut for the New York Islanders on January 2 against the Boston Bruins, and returned to the Sound Tigers on January 7 after playing in three games.

The Wolf Pack will hit the road for their next three games, with a trip to Canada this weekend to face the Laval Rocket and Belleville Senators, as well as a matchup in Springfield next Monday.
