Friday Night is Wolf Pack's Anti-Bullying Night

Mar 23, 2015

Global Spectrum, operators of the XL Center and the Wolf Pack, today announced that the Wolf Pack’s “Kindness Campaign” will culminate in the Pack’s “Anti-Bullying Night” this Friday night, March 27, when the Wolf Pack host the Providence Bruins in a 7:00 PM game at the XL Center.

The Wolf Pack players will sport a specialty jersey in Friday night’s game, and the jersey will be embossed with the names of the hundreds of fans who took the Wolf Pack’s “Kindness Pledge” in November and December.  The jerseys will be auctioned in the XL Center atrium during Friday’s second intermission, and the winning bidders will be handed their jerseys by the players, on the ice, immediately after the game.

The proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the National School Climate Center, which works with hundreds of schools to measure and improve their climates for learning and whose motto is, “Educating Minds and Hearts…Because the Three Rs are not Enough.”

Throughout Friday night, the Wolf Pack will be displaying and promoting anti-bullying and respectful conduct facts and information, including the “Three Rs of Bullying Prevention”, which are: recognize, respond, report.

The Wolf Pack’s Kindness Campaign was launched at the team’s “School Day” home game November 5, and has focused on the importance of treating others with respect and consideration, both in person and on-line.
