Chris Bourque Named to Eastern Conference All-Star Starting Lineup
Jan 21, 2015The American Hockey League announced today that the Wolf Pack’s Chris Bourque has been chosen as an Eastern Conference All-Star starter, for this Monday Night’s 2015 AHL All-Star Game in Utica, NY.
The All-Star starting lineups were chosen via the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic Fan Balloting, presented by CCM.
Bourque, who leads the Wolf Pack in points, goals and assists with 17-17-34 in 38 games, is tied for fourth in the league in goals and tied for eighth in points. He is joined in the Eastern Conference starting lineup by fellow forwards Tom Kostopoulos of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Vladislav Namestnikov of Syracuse, as well as defensemen Austin Madaisky of Springfield and Derrick Pouliot of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and goaltender Anton Forsberg of Springfield.
The Western Conference starters are forwards Connor Brown of Toronto, Cal O’Reilly of Utica and Teemu Pulkkinen of Grand Rapids, along with defensemen T.J. Brennan of Rockford and Bobby Sanguinetti of Utica, plus goaltender Jacob Markstrom of Utica.
The 2015 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Turning Stone Resort Casino begins with the All-Star Skills Competition at 8:00 PM this Sunday, January 25, and Monday night’s All-Star Game is a 7:00 PM faceoff, both at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
The Wolf Pack are back in action tonight at the XL Center, with the Providence Bruins visiting for a 7:00 game. All Wolf Pack Wednesday home games are “Winning Wednesdays”. If the Wolf Pack win, each fan can get a free ticket to the next Pack home game (some restrictions apply).
