Wolf Pack defeat Worcester Sharks, 4-2

Hartford winger Alex Bourret scored a pair of goals and added an assist as the Wolf Pack stayed hot with a 4-2 victory over Worcester on Friday at the DCU Center.

Bourret, who missed Hartford’s previous eight contests, has now tallied three goals and one helper in three games against the Sharks this season. The Wolf Pack moved to 9-2-0-0 in their last 11 games overall.

Bourret scored one goal each in the first and third periods, and he assisted on Thomas Pock’s second-period marker.

Dane Byers added an empty-netter for the Wolf Pack, and Miika Wiikman made 23 saves, improving to 3-0-0 in his last three starts.

The Sharks received goals from Lukas Kaspar and Mike Iggulden, and goaltender Thomas Greiss stopped 29 of 32 shots in the losing effort.

Hartford is now 3-0-0-0 against the Sharks this season, including a pair of wins in Worcester.
