Wolf Pack defeat Lowell Devils, 3-2

Artem Anisimov

Hartford rookie Artem Anisimov scored at 16:14 of the third period to lift the Wolf Pack to a 3-2 win over Lowell at the Tsongas Arena.

It marked Anisimov’s first goal since Oct. 13 and the first game-winning tally of his professional career.

The Wolf Pack staked themselves to a 2-0 lead on the back of goals by Hugh Jessiman and Greg Moore in the first and second periods, respectively.

Lowell’s Mike Pandolfo and Benoit Mondou tied the game with goals 1:25 apart in the third period, setting the stage for Anisimov’s game-winner.

Al Montoya made 17 saves in net for Hartford, which matched a season high with its third consecutive victory.
