Wolf Pack Sign Forward Tomas Zaborsky to ATO
Slovakian Import Was Fifth-Round Pick in 2006

Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have signed forward Tomas
Zaborsky to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.
Zaborsky, a 20-year-old native of Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, played the
last two seasons with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League.
The 5-11, 181-pounder registered the third-most points, goals and
assists on this year's Spirit squad, with totals of 31-39-70, along with
42 penalty minutes, in 68 games. In four postseason games, Zaborsky
notched two goals and an assist, tying him for the team lead in goals
and for second on the club in points. In 127 career OHL games, Zaborsky
totaled 50-63-113 and 60 PIM.
Zaborsky was a fifth-round (137th overall) selection by the parent New
York Rangers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, out of the Slovakian Junior
ranks.
The Wolf Pack are next in action this Friday night, April 4th, as they
travel to Providence to take on the league-leading Bruins in a 7:05
game. The Pack's next home-ice action at the XL Center is this Sunday,
April 6th vs. the Lowell Devils, with faceoff at 4:00.
