Wednesday, March 12, 2008 - 11:20 AM

Northland AEG announced today that the
Hartford Wolf Pack, Kiss-95.7 FM and Coca-Cola will present a special
appearance by star recording artist Kat DeLuna at the Wolf Pack's home
game at the XL Center Wednesday, March 19th vs. the Philadelphia
Phantoms (7:00 PM faceoff).
The 19-year-old DeLuna, whose smash-hit "Whine Up" has been an
international sensation, will perform an in-game concert during the
first intermission of the game on March 19th. Prior to that, she will
sing the National Anthem and drop the ceremonial first puck. DeLuna
will also conduct a special "meet-and-greet", which will be open to all
fans holding tickets for the game, from 6:00 - 6:45 PM in the XL Center
atrium.
DeLuna's crossover sound blends Hip Hop, R&B, Meringue, Pop, Latin Jazz,
Electronica and Dance, and the bilingual songstress has some of the
biggest names in the music industry singing her praises. R&B superstar
R. Kelly has referred to DeLuna as a "prodigy", and illustrious
Salvadoran singer Alvaro Torres has dubbed her "the new Selena".
