Rangers Recall Callahan; Reassign Moore

New York Rangers President and General
Manager Glen Sather announced today that forward Ryan Callahan has been
recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL)
and forward Greg Moore has been reassigned to Hartford (AHL).
Callahan, 22, has appeared in 15 games with the Rangers this season,
registering one goal and 12 penalty minutes. The 5-11, 188-pound forward
has recorded five goals and two assists for seven points, along with 21
penalty minutes and a plus-four rating in 29 games with the Rangers over
the last two seasons. He also skated in 10 post-season contests during
the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs, tallying two goals and one assist for
three points.
Moore, 23, has skated in two games with the Rangers this season. He
returns to Hartford having appeared in 26 AHL games during the 2007-08
season, registering 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points, along with 15
penalty minutes and a plus-20 rating. The 6-1, 210-pound forward leads
the Wolf Pack in goals (15) and plus/minus rating (plus-20), and his 29
points are tied for first on the team. His 15 goals and 29 points are
also tied for third and ninth, respectively, in the AHL, and he leads
the league in plus/minus rating (plus-20).
