The Wolf Pack won two out of three games this past weekend, running
their 2007-08 record to 7-6-0-1 for 15 points.
The Pack got their first
win in three tries at Manchester on Friday, as they came back from a 2-0
first-period deficit and downed the Monarchs by a score of 5-4.
On
Saturday at the Hartford Civic Center, the Pack defeated the Albany
River Rats, 4-1. That marked the Wolf Pack's tenth consecutive victory
over Albany, a franchise record for longest winning streak against a
single opponent.
Sunday brought the Wolf Pack to Portland, Maine, for
their first of eight get-togethers on the season with Coach Kevin
Dineen's Portland Pirates. The Pack outshot the Pirates 42-27 in the
game, but the Pirates prevailed on the scoreboard, winning by a 2-1
margin.
Rookie Brodie Dupont (1-3-4) and leading scorer Greg Moore
(2-2-4) were the Wolf Pack's top point producers for the week.
This week:
The Wolf Pack face their busiest week of the season thus far, playing
four games in five days. A pair of home games begin the week, Wednesday
vs. Norfolk and Friday against defending Calder Cup champion Hamilton on
Guida's Family Value Night (both 7:00 faceoffs). On Saturday night the
Wolf Pack travel to Lowell for their first look at the Devils (7:05),
before another Sunday visit to Portland (4:05)

This week's edition of the Wolf Pack's weekly Tuesday-night talk show,
hosted by Bob Crawford, features Wolf Pack Wolf Pack forward Pierre Parenteau and goaltender Chris Holt as scheduled guests. The show airs live
from a new home, the M&M Restaurant at the Hilton Hartford, located at
315 Trumbull St. in downtown Hartford, from 7:00-8:00 PM. Fans are
welcome to be on hand at M&M for an exclusive opportunity to ask
questions and speak one-on-one with the guests. Wolf Pack Confidential
can be heard live on the radio home of the Wolf Pack, ESPN Radio 1410.
Wednesday, November 14th vs. Norfolk at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.
The Admirals are in the first year of an affiliation with the
Tampa Bay Lightning, after playing their first seven years in the AHL as
a Chicago Blackhawks affiliate. The Admirals were 50-22-6-2 for 108
points last season.
Norfolk is 4-8-0-1 through its first 13 games, for nine
points, and in sixth place in the East Division.
Veteran winger Kyle Wanvig tops the Admirals in points with
4-9-13. Former Wolf Pack defenseman Bryce Lampman has 2-1-3.
This is the first of four games on the season between the Pack
and Admirals. The Pack were 1-2-1-0 in last year's season series.

Friday, November 16th vs. Hamilton at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.
This is the second of two games on the season between the Wolf
Pack and the defending Calder Cup-champion Bulldogs. The Bulldogs
knocked the Wolf Pack off by a score of 2-1 in the first encounter,
October 20th in Hamilton. Prior to this year, the Wolf Pack had not
played the Bulldogs since the 1999-2000 season.
Friday nights are Guida's Family Value Nights throughout the
Wolf Pack season. Fans can purchase Family Value Night packages that
include tickets, hot dogs or pizza slices, sodas and a Wolf Pack

The Bulldogs are 4-6-0-3 for 11 points thus far in their
title-defense season, tied for fifth place in the North Division.
Sergei Kostitsyn is the top point-getter on the Hamilton
squad, with 3-10-13.

Saturday, November 17th at Lowell (Paul Tsongas Arena), 7:05 p.m.
This is the first of eight battles on the season between the
Wolf Pack and the Devils. The Pack's record last year against Lowell
was 3-5-0-0, although the Pack split four visits to the Paul Tsongas
Arena.
Lowell has been led to this point by Peter Vrana, who has
registered 3-8-11 in 13 games.
The Devils sit right at the .500 mark through 13 games,
6-6-1-0 for 13 points and in tied for fifth place in the Atlantic.

Sunday, November 18th at Portland (Cumberland County Civic Center), 4:05 p.m.
This is the second consecutive Sunday that the Wolf Pack have
visited Portland. The Pirates handed the Wolf Pack a 2-1 defeat
yesterday at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
Petteri Wirtanen notched a goal and an assist for Portland in
Sunday's victory, and goaltender Jonas Hiller stopped 41 out of 42 Wolf
Pack shots.
After Sunday's result, the Pirates are tied with the Wolf Pack
for third place in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 7-5-1-0 for
15 points.

This Saturday, November 17th, Wolf Pack mascot Sonar and the "Pack
Attack" promotions team will be appearing at the UConn football game Fan
Fest at Rentschler Field in East Hartford from 10:00 AM to noon, and
then at the Enfield Square Mall from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
The Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation will be holding its annual
Bowl-a-Thon to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut Eastern Region on
Sunday, December 16th at AMF Silver Lanes in East Hartford. Teams of
four bowlers raise pledges to bowl alongside a Wolf Pack player. Space
is limited, so interested participants are urged to call soon for more
