New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that forward Greg Moore has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Moore, 23, has skated in 11 games with Hartford this season, registering five goals and five assists for 10 points, along with nine penalty minutes and a plus-seven rating. Moore leads the Wolf Pack in scoring (10 points) and plus-minus (plus-seven), is tied for first in goals (five) and ranks second in assists (five). In 92 career games with Hartford, he has recorded 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points, along with 52 penalty minutes and a plus-eight rating. The 6-1, 210 pound forward has also skated in 20 Calder Cup Playoff contests, registering two goals and six assists for eight points.

The Lisbon, Maine native skated in 154 career games with the University of Maine Black Bears, registering 66 goals and 41 assists for 107 points, along with 117 penalty minutes. Moore has also represented his country in several international tournaments, including the 2004 (U-20) World Junior Championships, where he helped Team U.S.A. win the gold medal while serving as an alternate captain.

Originally a fifth round choice, 143rd overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames, Moore was traded to the Rangers from Calgary, along with Jamie McClennan and Blair Betts, in exchange for Chris Simon and a seventh round choice in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft (Matt Schneider).

The Rangers are in action tonight, November 5, when they will face off against the Philadelphia Flyers at Madison Square Garden (7:00 PM) in the final game of their six-game homestand.
