Chris Holt Reassigned from Charlotte Checkers

Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned goaltender Chris Holt to the Wolf Pack from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.
Holt, a third-year pro, has seen one game of action for the Checkers this season, a 5-4 home win over Columbia this past Friday in which he allowed four goals on 27 shots.
In six AHL games with the Wolf Pack last year, Holt compiled a 2-1-0 record, with a 2.00 goals-against average and a 91.8% save percentage.
In ECHL action in 2006-07, Holt suited up for 45 Checkers contests, going 24-18-2 with a 3.15 GAA, an 89.8% save percentage and one shutout.
A sixth-round selection (180th overall) by the Rangers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Holt played two seasons at the University of Nebraska-Omaha before turning pro in 2005-06. He has made one NHL appearance, 10 minutes of relief duty for the Rangers December 3, 2005 at Washington (no goals on two shots), and is 5-3-1 in 15 career AHL games, with a GAA of 3.35 and an 89.0% save percentage.
