Wolf Pack Make Roster Moves

Defenseman Busto Assigned to Charlotte, Six Others Released



Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned defenseman Mike Busto to the Wolf Pack’s ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

In addition, the Wolf Pack have released from their training camp roster forwards Patrick Bordeleau, Ryan Murphy, Eric Hunter and Neil Poulsen, and defensemen Mike Hartwick and Milan Maslonka.

Those deletions leave the Wolf Pack club with 26 players on its roster:

Goal (3): Chris Holt, Miika Wiikman, Matt Zaba

Defense (8): Ivan Baranka, Clayton Barthel, Ryan Constant, Darius Kasparaitis, Dave Liffiton, Corey Potter, Michael Sauer, Jake Taylor

Forwards (15): Joe Barnes, Alex Bourret, Dane Byers, Brodie Dupont, Mitch Fritz, Bruce Graham, Hugh Jessiman, Lauri Korpikoski, Rick Kozak, Mark Lee, Francis Lessard, Greg Moore, Mike Ouellette, Jordan Owens, Tommy Pyatt

The Wolf Pack open their 2007-08 American Hockey League season Saturday, October 6th at the Hartford Civic Center, with a GEICO Connecticut Cup battle vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (7:00 faceoff). That is "Everyone's a Kid Night", with all fans being able to purchase seats for opening night at the kids' price of $10 each.

Single-game tickets for all home games of the Hartford Wolf Pack's 2007-08 American Hockey League season are on sale now, at the Hartford Civic Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy's at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall.
