Wolf Pack rookie defenseman Ryan Graves won the Hardest Shot contest in Sunday’s 2016 Toyota AHL All-Star Skills Competition at the historic War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, NY.

Graves, competing for the Eastern Conference All-Stars unleashed a drive of 103.4 miles-per-hour, which was more than three MPH faster than the next-hardest shot recorded in the event.  The 2013 New York Ranger fourth-round draftee (110th overall), who has notched 5-10-15 and is a +2 in 45 games with the Wolf Pack this season, also took part in the Skills Competition’s Panasonic Breakaway Relay.

Graves will skate tonight for the Atlantic Division squad in the 2016 Toyota AHL All-Star Challenge, a round-robin tournament among the league’s four divisions combining 4-on-4 and 3-on-3 play.  Start time is 7:00 PM, and the event will be telecast live on NESNplus, MSG Network and AHL Live (www.ahllive.com).
