The Wolf Pack Bowl-a-Thon is a fundraiser in which teams of four raise money to bowl with the Wolf Pack and Special Olympics athletes, win prizes, and have fun.

This year's date is Sunday, January 6, 2008.

There will be two sessions, starting at 2:30 pm and 4:45 pm.

The event is held at AMF Silver Lanes in East Hartford.

Supporters of Special Olympics, Wolf Pack fans, local businesses, civic groups, the media and others create teams of 4 to play with Wolf Pack and Special Olympic athletes.

All money raised directly benefits Special Olympics Connecticut Athletes from the Eastern Region. Over the past seven seasons, the Wolf Pack have helped to raise $156,000 for Special Olympics Connecticut through this popular event.

Space is limited, so interested participants are urged to call soon for more information or to sign up.
